About Hal

I am an Investment Banker, Advisor, and Investor. I bring a unique combination of both operational leadership and financial transaction experience to my clients. I have  over 25 years' experience as a CEO, Investor, Chairman, or Board Member in a disparate set of Industries (Enterprise Software, SaaS, Investment Banking, Real Estate, Construction, Retail, and Technology). In addition to  15 Company Boards, I  have  also sat on the boards of industry trade organizations, a non-profit and a public university. I have  advised/mentored dozens of CEOs over my career and frequently  speak on topics related to entrepreneurship, executive leadership, and exit planning. I have a heavy transaction background, having completed dozens of private debt/equity financings, M&A transactions, debt restructurings, and equity recapitalizations. 

I am  a licensed Investment Banker holding both a Series 79 and Series 63; and  earned a BSCS and MSCS from UMass and an MBA from Boston University.

In my free time, I enjoy my role as a Deputy Commissioner for Combat Sports for the Commonwealth of MA, ridin' my motorcycles, fishin', and hangin' with my family.
